My Inquiry reflection

I think our inquiry went really well because we got lots of our information into the movie and it is really easy to understand. But some of the bad things are that when we first started filming we were been silly and not that serious but then we improved and its now much better.

Living On The Ocean

I think that in the year 3000 we should live in and on top of the sea. Most things we do will not pollute and we would be helping with the demand for land usage.

There are lots of fun things you can do just out your door like when you live on top of the water you can just walk out your door and go for a swim and there could be something to stop the sea creatures like sharks and lots more.

How would we get our electricity we would be able to get electricity from the seawater with a hydro plant. We would need more hydroelectricity for under water we could just make more hydro plants on top of the water for it to travel to this people underwater.

They would get there air from oxygen tanks and plant trees all over the town for oxygen.

Back on top of the water there are going to have helicopters and boats will take loads of stuff like food and mail and more to and from land.

We would get gas from land and it could travel ****through tubes under water. There could be different towns and cities and different kind of foods and sources.


We would get oil from under the ground just like everyone dose.

Years after the people start to live in and on top of the water there would start to have to build on it it and onto it so more people can live there. But if there is no more room. Still leaving space for the animals in the sea lots of space. We could start to build somewhere else like space, clouds and underground. The city on top of the water and under the towns will be like normal towns like chch with universities, parks, zoos, supermarkets, libraries, hotels, markets, banks, newspaper companies, movies, bike tracks, paintball, go-carts, cars and ships, cruises, farms, forests, lakes, rivers, skate parks, gyms, sports areas, stadiums, studios, pet shops, music lessens, restaurants, neighbourhoods, churches, camping sights.

I have improved in.

Responsible risk taker-I have tried out for more things that I would not of tried out for last year.


Conferdence-This year have impproved my conferdence in front of the class. I have inproved on my writing because they make more sence and they are longer most are at least 2 pages.

Flexible- I don't have things my way all the time. I let people say their ideas and use their ideas not all my ideas.

Participaters and Contributors-I participate in lots of things and I participate in lots of games sports and more.

Goal Setter- I am setting my goals much then at the start of the year i am useing the the S.M.A.R.T goal



Maths- I think that I have improved in my maths because last year I came to this school and I started in the lowest maths group now this year im in the top class but not top group but I think I have still improved

Self motivated- I am improving in beeing more self motivated because I have been trying to finish things I need to finish without been asked and i am working through lunch time.

Ralating to others- Over the last two terms I have been not shy and joining in with lots of people and trying out lots more.

Self responsible- I am more self responsible because I am looking after my stuff and not forgetting anything normally.

Competes responsibly- I like to win sports and games but dont cheat or not play fair and like to have fun.

Term Four Goals

Goal 1: I think that I need to concentrete more in class.
I will achive this by maby not allways sitting with my friends.
I will try to achive this goal by the end of the year.
I will know when I have finished this goal when im getting more work done.

Personal goal 2: My personal goal is to get a faster bowl.
I willl achive this by going to school after school with dad and my family.
My deadline for this goal is the end of the season.
I will know I have achived this when im bowling faster and people are finding it harder to hit my bowls.

Goal 2: My second goal is to to put a bit more effort in my homelearning.
I will achive this by going into a room on my own and take more time on each thing.
I will give me till the end of the year to try to achine this goal.
I will know I have achived this goal when Rob and Claire are comenting on how my work has inproved.

My Speech Evaluation

I think that I did not do the best that i could.
I think that mine was a bit to short and I spoke to fast because sometimes at home i did it in 2 mins and 45 seconds. I think I could practise more because I spoke to fast as I said.Plus I could of spoke more confidently.

Term Three Goal evaluations

Goal to get better descriptive stories

School goal 1: To be able to do more descriptive stories that make sense by taking my time and trying my hardest. I will know I have achieved this when I am writing more descriptive writing and its not to hard. I shoul of improved by term three.

I achived this because at the and of this term i have been writng more descriptive stories like my story the Three little Wolves and the Pig.

Three little wolves and the evil pig

Once upon a time there was a pig who got kidnapped by a evil lady bug army. There master was a Queen ant. After they had kidnapped the pig they turned him evil and equipped him with special

The youngest pig was really fat and all he worried about was food. He never stopped eating. He did not care about any thing else.
The second oldest wolf was really sneaky and worked at a spy business. He had all the latest gadgets
The oldest wolf has a job . He is a computer expert and is really un sporty and thin. He spends his hole time in his lair and he’s been in his lair for so long he reacktes badly to daylight.

Meanwile, back the 3 wolfs house, the oldest pig came out of his lair after being stuck in for 16 days. Once he got out, the first he said was, “AHHH real daylight,” and he straight away dived back into his lair. The other two wolves had to drag him back out and lock him out. The oldest pig could not stand the light for a while but later he got used to it.

Back at the Queen ants lair the pig was training for his mission at a base camp. He got taught how to use lots and lots of gadgets and weapons. After a few days of training he started focussing just on his fitness. He did obstacle course and runs and lots of weights.

Weeks later.
The queen ant sent the pig on his mission to kill the three little wolves. Back at the wolves house they were having lunch and the evil pig was outdie the wolves house setting up some traps to catch the three little wolves. The first trap was a lindmine. He set it up outside the front gate. Then the pigs brother was comingup the driveway so the evil pig had to jump ut and stop him. Then he turned the land mine off. That was a problem for the evil pig because he ahd to set a new one up somewhere else. He sneaked around their property to find another place to set his land mine. He chose to set the land mine where the oldest wolfs computer room where his chair was. A few days later the oldest pig sneaked back into his lair. But once he got in there he smelt something suspicous and called his brothers, “bothers, brothers, come here”, they both came running in. The youngest brother thought it was some food. He followed the smell to the chair and set off the land mine. In the end it blew off his legs and he died of blood loss.

At the funeral down the street there he laid in his coffin which said on it “XXXL” (that stands for extra, extra, extra large). At the graveyard the evil pig sneaked around. The middle wolf, the spy, saw the pig and he thought he looked suspicious. So he followed him up a stoney road to the top of the hill and he saw the pig grab a gun out of the back of his car. He reacted quickly. He sprinted over to the crowd of people. Meanwhile the pig put a piece of computer equipment at the botton of t6he hill, that atracted the oldest wolf, because he loves computers. Now the oldest wolfs only other brother was calling out for him to stop, but he did not listen. He grabbed the computer and said, “Oh my gosh, it’s the latest 30GB XX106 computer memory storage who”.

Meanwhile the pig had a perfect shot. BANG!!! There he was lying down in a silver pool of red. A few days later there was another funeral. But the only other wolf was not there, he was hunting down the pig. Day after night he seaerched for the pig. He found some foot prints which led into the forest. He followed the footprints into a little cave. In that cave there were lots of doors. He went downt he foorway that said, “Queen Do Not Disturb!!!” He walked through the doorway and he saw the pig talking to the Queen Ant. The Queen was congratulating him on his murders but told him to quickly kill the other pig because he’d seen him.

Wolf again reacted quickly and attacked the pig. He pinned him on the ground and the Queen guard called the guards. The guards came running in. The wolf started fighting back at the gards. He knocked one of the guards over the head with a chair. He got concussion then the wolf took his key and ran out of the room. The wolf locked the guards and the Queen Ant in that room. Then he lit the building on fire. The guards and the Queen died in a few minutes so that was the end of them. They had a funeral. But no one attended the funeral. Meanwhile back at the 3 wolves house but now 1 wolf house they were celebrating his great job of killing the Queen and his sereal killers.

Term 2 goal - Following Doctor's Instructions

Personal Goal: To do what the paediatrist told me to do by stretching and putting on my plaster things for my feet. Then try to get better at running for rugby by trying to go for small runs after school with mum or dad or a friend. But first do a two or one km time trial I will know if I have improved by term three.

I did not achive this goal because it is not something i can really achive.I started puting on my strapping a few weeks ago.
